Lionel New Catalogs due on line tomorrow

The count down is on for tomorrow with two new catalogs on line from Lionel.:)

We've checked at the store and they are in transit. Hope to have them early this coming week since UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday. Checking the online version be prepared for sticker shock!!!

Yep I sure looked at the on line version and :eek: on some prices but also I have to have the K-line southern bay window caboose also I really like that Southern diesel in that green and white paint scheme. Can't wait until I get my copy of the catalogs.:)

It's a pretty good catalog overall. You never know quite what Lionel's gonna do from catalog to catalog so it's always interesting to see what comes out. There are some real oddball entries in the new catalog, though. For example, they are selling a shay for $700 that only has classic TMCC and not Legacy. What's up with that? There's some other wierd things too, but I'll put that stuff on my blog at http://www.ericstrains.com/blog

Overall I'm pleased though and I will definitely be ordering a few items from the new catalog.

Eric I agree with you total on the catalog. I did see that there is a Southern Caboose (black/White bay window) I will have to have that for sure. Also I like the Southern Diesel Green and White scheme and if I can swing it I will get that as well. That new ZW-L looks good to me as well. I should be getting my catalog this week and I am looking forward to seeing it in person. :)

We received the "Ready to Run" catalogues last week but have yet to receive the Vision catalogue. The boss has been trying to reach Lionel to find out why and only gets the answering machine.:confused:

Suggested he call Jerry C. in NY, that got a chuckle.

I got my two Lionel catalogs today. NICE :)
