How do we get the new upgrade? Do you have to register with Lionel to have them send it to you?

This would all be so much easier if Lionel did downloadable updates like MTH does...

The answer is yes you have to registered your legacy system with Lionel. Here is the link.

What I am reading from the ORG Forum is that there are two modules people will receive in the mail as long as they registered there legacy unit. One module updates the base and the other updates the hand held cab2.

Great Eric now all we do is wait until we get our updates. I am hoping that it want be long before we get the update.

Reading a post on one of the forums I got the impression that Lionel is working on a module that will allow downloading updates via a computer.
