Max,
Have you thought of your own names yet? How do you see your layout? More scenic, or more industrial? I chose Raccoon Creek Scenic Railroad for mine from personal experience. When I was the naturalist at the Chattahoochee Nature Center I raised seven baby raccoons over the span of years that I was there (among many other critters). I have a fondness for raccoons because of that. I also wanted to portray the scenery of country and wilderness areas. I guess my name was chosen even before the layout began with country scenes in mind. So, what did you have in mind before you built yours. Maybe that will help in thinking of a name.

I changed it to the Juniata Valley Railroad.

Thanks Mr. Rick. I've tried to come up with a name on my own, but I just couldn't make one.

Have you thought up a name yet? I just named mine a couple months ago. Any ideas?

Yes, I did. It is now called the Juniata Valley Railroad. What is the name of your layout?

What made you think of that name?
Mine's called 'The Appalachian & Western Railroad". I'm probably going to paint up a few cars and maybe an engine or two with the the railroad's name, with the reporting marks AWRX.

Eric,
Will you have those paint jobs done before the Piedmont Pilgrimage?
