Whenever I try and upload pictures to an album it goes to a screen that says Database Error, what should I do?

Here is how I did it. First you must create an album. I did that within our forum. Under User CP, it gives you an option to create your own album which looks like a maximum of 60 pictures. I first exported my picture to my desktop, using 640 x 640 pixels (I may be too large. I think Eric mentioned something about 100 x 100). Hopefully he will get on as admin and correct me if I am wrong. I then went to create an album and imported the pictures I wanted to add through the "pictures to upload" window, choosing the pictures I placed on my desktop.
Once you have created your album, click on the picture you want to import into your post. At the bottom of that window, you will see two smaller windows - the picture URL and the BB code. Copy and save the information in the BB code window.
Now, go to the thread you want to post (your own thread or one started by someone else). You can type your text and then, when you want to insert your picture, go to the top menu bar and click on the icon that looks like a little mountain in it. That brings up a screen that allows you to put in an image. Paste the BB code that you saved in that window and hit okay. Your image should now show up in your post.... like my newest car that I purchased in Strasburg. http://forum.ogauge.org/picture.php?albumid=2&pictureid=6

Thanks, I'll try it and see if it works, but if it doesn't then I won't worry about it.

Max,

Make sure that the picture you are trying to upload conforms to these requirements:

Maximum File Size per Picture 97.7 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 600 by 600 Pixels

Rick, you're doing one step too many. Once you've copied to the code from the album, just paste it directly into your post. You don't have to click the little "mountain" button to insert the image. That is only used for inserting an image from scratch. Since you've already got the code from the album page, all you do is simply paste it into the posting. When you do it the way you were doing it, you end up with an extra [IMG] tag in your post and that's why your posts all had extra [IMG] tags everywhere. I went ahead and removed the extra tags from your posts for you, so now your posts look right. :)

Thanks,
Eric

I figured out another way to do this. I went to photobucket and resized it.
